Description from Wim Goes Architectuur:
Refuge is a link between landscape and architecture, but at the same time does not try to be one more than the other or anything new. The clients confessed to me that after many years of living there, they got to know the landscape in a different way after my project. It is important to note that the landscape didn’t change, but rather their perceptions. The architecture is not meant to portray a certain state of mind, but in principle a space that accommodates a state of mind and time.
